Good Morning! I am always amazed at how our body works...especially when things are not running smoothly as when I was 25 or 30. God did not make this body to last forever, but he will make one that will last forever. When I slow down and think about how wonderfully we are made and all the moving parts of what happens in just a day, it boggles my mind. I am reminded of a scripture in Isaiah [Isa 40:28-31 NLT] 28 "Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. 29 He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. 30 Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. 31 But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint."
Although I like the last part of that scripture the word Creator stands out to me today. "The Creator" Have you ever stopped to think of all the living things on this earth, and how different their bodies are? Each one so uniquely made. Take a pesky gnat for instance. I wonder how big its heart is. How about a bee with its stinger so perfectly made to pollinate the beautiful plants and flowers He created for our pleasure. What about the universe that we see on a clear night and marvel at the beauty of the stars. All these things and more we see the Creator side of God Almighty. I love the phrase, Stop and smell the roses. Indeed. With all the negative news out there sometimes we forget to stop and smell the roses in our life and remember that we serve the Creator and if He can keep the universe together and make the gnats heart beat, I know He can take care of this tired body of mine and yours according to His plan. But I must, say that I am looking forward to the new everlasting body I will eventually have. Thank you Creator of heaven and earth for that promise!
To You be the Glory oh God!
