Message from the Pastor for Oct 25th
Greetings to all and I hope you are staying warm as the temperatures drop. I hope you are staying strong in the Lord and are praying for our nation in this time of uncertainty.
II Timothy 2:1-4(NLT) I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. Pray this way for kings and all who are in authority so that we can live peaceful and quiet lives marked by godliness and dignity. This is good and pleases God our Savior, who wants everyone to be saved and understand the truth.
Sermon Topic: Our Faith
Ref: Heb 11:1-6 and II Tim 1:5
Two words that describe faith are confident and certainty, what God says will happen.

Saturday night Prayer meeting - Jeremiah 7

Don’t for get to turn your clocks back next Saturday.
Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good testimony.
3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible.
4 By faith Abel offered to God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, through which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and through it he being dead still speaks.
5 By faith Enoch was taken away so that he did not see death, “and was not found, because God had taken him”; for before he was taken he had this testimony, that he pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
5 when I call to remembrance the genuine faith that is in you, which dwelt first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice, and I am persuaded is in you also.
